Wedding Registry (updated)
We are registered, under the name lindsayjohn with the fair trade hippy outfit 10,000 Villages,
As you’ll see there ain’t a lot of stuff there, because those particular villages are pretty lazy so there wasn’t much to choose from. Details
UPDATE!!
The Venue for the ceremony has changed to St. Andrews United Church; 1044 Madawaska, Calabogie(see map below), but the reception will remain at 205 Bluff Point Drive
ATTIRE
Well we will be dressed up, but you can come in more casual gear, with a nod to elegance & the cool autumn environs. Think James Herriot with boots.
SCHEDULE
9am – 2 pm ( panic )
2.30 – 3.00 pm Wedding Ceremony (st andrews church)
3.05 – 5.30 pm Reception & “melee” (bluff point drive)
Transportation
This will be a bit tricky. There is a Voyageur bus to Renfrew that leaves Ottawa at 10 and arrives at 11.15. (and return trips at 3.15, and 7.14). If you’re feeling brave you could always hitch from to Calabogie from Renfrew, (which may not be too difficult when attired in casual country wedding elegance).
Ride sharing. Clearly we’ll need to do a lot of this, so please email (lindsaywedsjohn@gmail) if you need a lift, or if you are able to provide one.
ACCOMMODATIONS
So there is a bit of room at the cottage if you want to spend the night. You’ll need a sleeping bag though (and some kind of pillow like device). If you’re really brave you can camp, but bring warm clothes, it’ll be cold.
Otherwise here are some local places to kip.
